# Basic Use Features

The LN/TA Explorer, developed by BitDance Labs, is built upon the Lightning Lab’s Taproot Assets protocol, along with universe data sources and Bitcoin main chain transaction information, to present users with a comprehensive view of changes in Taproot Assets. Its functionality is similar to that of Lightning Lab’s Terminal.

## **1.1. Supported Networks**

The LN/TA Explorer supports displaying assets on both the BTC mainnet and testnet. Switching between mainnet and testnet can be done via the top navigation bar.

## 1.2. Home Page

The home page of the LN/TA Explorer is divided into two sections: LN-BTC Information Display and LN-TA Information Display. Each section is described below.

**1.2.1. LN-BTC Information Display**

When assets are minted or transferred on the Lightning Network, they are anchored to a specific transaction on the BTC chain. These BTC chain transactions will be shown in this list. The displayed information includes the transaction time, sender wallet address, receiver wallet address, BTC transaction hash, associated transaction name, asset amount, and status. As shown in the figure below:
**1.2.2. LN-TA Information Display**

Taproot Assets minted on the Lightning Network will be displayed here. Assets are distinguished by type: Normal and Collectible. For Collectible-type assets, unlike the browser from Lightning Lab (<https://terminal.lightning.engineering/assets/mainnet>) which only shows the total count, each minted asset is displayed individually, making it easier for users to view and verify. As shown in the figure below:

## 1.3. View TA Details

From the Taproot Assets section on the home page, click the asset name link to view the asset’s details. The details page is divided into two sections: \*\*Basic Information\*\* and \*\*Recent Transaction History\*\*. Basic information includes the asset type, asset name, asset ID, and other fundamental details, while the recent transaction history records every transaction involving the asset since its minting.

**1.3.1. TA Basic Information**

**1.3.2. TA Transaction History**

The asset transaction history displays the asset’s transfers on the Lightning Network from the date of minting.

## 1.4. Search Function – Bitcoin Address, Transaction Hash, TA

From the \[BTC Transaction] section on the home page, you can search for associated BTC transaction history using Bitcoin addresses, transaction hashes, or TA asset names. Click “More” to view additional transaction history.

## 1.5. Transaction Details Page

On the transaction list, click the transaction hash to view the transaction details, which include two parts: BTC transaction information and Taproot Assets transaction information.

**1.5.1. BTC Transaction Details**

The BTC transaction information to which the Lightning Network asset is anchored displays basic details such as the transaction’s block confirmation time, fees, miner, as well as the transaction’s inputs and outputs. As shown in the figure below:

**1.5.2. Taproot Assets Transaction Details**

The Taproot Protocol dictates the issuance and transfer of Taproot Assets. The changes to its vUTXO structure resemble the UTXO model on BTC. The transaction information for Taproot Assets displayed on the explorer is shown in the figure:

## 1.6. Display of Different Asset Types

As mentioned earlier, when viewing TA assets on the explorer, you can see basic information such as the asset name, asset ID, and asset description. Normal-type and Collectible-type Taproot Assets are displayed with distinct distinctions.

**1.6.1. Normal – FT**

For Normal-type assets, besides the name, description, and asset ID, the displayed information also includes specific details like total supply and decimal places. If the asset’s metadata includes an image, that image will also be displayed. As shown in the figure below:

**1.6.2. Collectible – NFT**

For Collectible-type assets, in addition to the name, description, and asset ID, the group information of the asset’s group is also displayed. Clicking on the group name allows you to view the list of all Collectible assets within that group. As shown in the figure below:

## 1.7. Address Details Page

Clicking on any BTC wallet address allows you to view the BTC details for that address, as well as the Normal and Collectible assets held at that address. As shown in the figure below:
