Lightning up your Bitcoin world.

Step 1 : Create A New Bitcoin Wallet

• Please choose "Create a New Wallet",currently only support Bitcoin Taproot addresses "bc1p".

• You can "Import Wallets" created in BitPocket, but avoid importing addresses from other Bitcoin wallets now to prevent UTXO issues and Lightning incompatibility.(We are promoting more Bitcoin wallets to join the Lightning Network ecosystem.)

• Remember your password — it can't be recovered if lost. The same applies to the mnemonic, though you can back it up later.

User-Friendly: When Bitcoin wallet created, a Lightning wallet with the same ID is generated automatically — just like your address! For example: [e-mail] 🔽

Note: The two wallets use different Bitcoin units — BTC and SATS (Satoshis, 1/100,000,000 of a Bitcoin).

Step 2 : Add Taproot Assets

• On the Bitcoin wallet page, click the "+" to add Taproot Assets.

• “Popular Tokens” are all from BitBoom — try adding “PUMPKIN” to view its Taproot Assets ID(similar to ERC-20"CA") and details.

• All Taproot Assets IDs can be found via the Lightning Labs Terminal (Terminal is a web-based dashboard for Lightning Labs products).

Step 3：Transfer Assets

Lightning Wallet Receive Taproot Assets

• If assets on BitBoom, use LNURL (e.g. [e-mail]) directly.

• If on other nodes (Binance, OKX, etc.), use Invoice.

Bitcoin Wallet Receive Taproot Assets

• In the Bitcoin wallet:Select the token, click"Receive",enter the amount, and create the Taproot Asset Address.

• In the Lightning wallet:Select the same token,click"SEND",paste the Taproot Asset Address, choose the mainnet miner fee, and make sure you have enough balance.

User-Friendly: Unlike other Lightning platforms, BitPocket lets you withdraw your Taproot Assets to your Bitcoin wallet at any time.
